Questo programma è l'interfaccia per più piattaforme standard tra lo scanner e la maggior parte delle applicazioni. È possibile accedere a tale programma da qualsiasi applicazione che supporta lo standard TWAIN.

Event Manager launches File Manager or PageManager for EPSON automatically when you press the B&W Start or Color Start button on the control panel in Scan mode. You can select an application to be launched when pressing the B&W Start or Color Start button.
I profili ICC (International Color Consortium) sono file che descrivono la modalità di gestione dei colori da parte di una periferica di input od output. Quando associati a una stampante, consentono al driver della stampante o al RIP di regolare il bilanciamento del colore del file di immagine in modo da considerare le caratteristiche della stampante, la disponibilità della carta e l'inchiostro da utilizzare.
